The Great Pacific Garbage Patch – Awareness Campaign
Project Overview:
This awareness campaign highlights the environmental crisis of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch—a massive concentration of microplastics harming marine life and ecosystems. Through vibrant, energetic visuals and educational storytelling, the campaign makes the often-invisible impact of ocean pollution feel immediate and impossible to ignore. By amplifying the urgency of the issue, the work inspires collective action toward a cleaner, healthier future.
Creative Approach:
The design is intentionally layered and chaotic, echoing the tangled reality of ocean pollution. I used bold colors and distressed textures to evoke urgency and create emotional impact. Hand-drawn typography adds a human, urgent touch, reminding viewers that real people are both the cause and the solution to this environmental crisis. The result is a raw, energetic identity that makes environmental data feel immediate, visual, and human-centered.
